Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly as man-children? Check.

John C. Reilly? Check.

Apatow producing? Check.

Homoerotic John Stamos references? Check.

Going on job interviews in a tuxedo? Check.

Twinning? Check.

Yeah, this sounds good, even though it looks extremely silly and probably won't be as good as Pineapple Express (or Forgetting Sarah Marshall if the early word is true), but still got a lot of laughs out of me. Looks like it'll be leagues better than Talladega Nights though.

"Hey, I never asked you; do you like guacamole?" WHAM!

looks infinitely better than Semi-Pro...

kinda off-beat Apatow-esque.

(edit: Just saw that Apatow is a producer... makes perfect sense)

This opens on my birthday and I couldn't be happier. A birthday present from Will, Adam and John C. to me. The trailer is fucking hilarious.

This is the first I have heard of this.

It made me laugh.

Shouldn't be hard to top Talladega Nights, as it sucked.

I was pretty much obsessed with this trailer last week. It looks like a return to form for Ferrell.

I love this duo! They are both so funny individually, so together they completely have my attention. I think this is gonna be an odd/funny movie for sure.

New HD Red Band trailer through iTunes

Holy shit, I was nearly crying at this trailer. Pineapple Express will probably be better, but still you can't get better than some of the one-liners here:

Spoiler:
"This house smells like Bengay and barbecue sauce!"

"This place is like a prison!"
"On planet bullshit!"
"And the galaxy of this sucks camel dick!"

"When I get into the workplace, I like to fuck shit up."

It looks like it has much more cheap, scatter-brained laughs than other Apatow fare, but I almost started crying watching this trailer, something the Semi-Pro spot couldn't get me to do at all.

Also, word from early screenings says
Spoiler:
Seth Rogen has a cameo.

Like the Apatow produced Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Walk Hard?

I dig the red band trailer. I'm excited.

That Red Band trailer is fucking wicked...knowing this is an Apatow/McKay flick though, how much of this stuff actually makes it into the movie is anyone's guess, but I can't fucking wait to find out!

That red band trailer rocks, Ferrell redeeming himself for the crap that was Semi Pro. No desire to see Pineapple Express, but this and Tropic Thunder make for possibly two great R rated comedies.

This movie was a fucking disappointment.

While it was a lot better than Semi Pro, this is a huge misfire for McKay and Ferrell.

The crowd I saw it with seemed to dig it, but coming from the cinematic achievement known as Anchorman and even the lesser Talladega Nights, McKay and Ferrell should know better.

What makes both films are the solid supporting casts. This film has none of that. Ferrell and Reilly are the only two funny performers as everyone else plays it straight. And by plays it straight, I mean mostly sucks.
