Pata Pata Pata Pon!
I picked up my demo yesterday and had a quick chance to play through some of the demo. Best $20 game ever.
The rhythm part is very cool and interactive, you want to keep in time with the signing and the pulsing screen to keep the little bastards moving and attacking well. And the game look simply amazing. It's so clean and clear - it's a blast. I can't wait until the full game comes out on the 27th.

I grabbed the demo Thursday. At first I was like crap this stinks.. but I was WATCHING THE GAME.. My tip is really pay attention to the pulsing boarder.. Unless you have the Rhythm down watching your Pon's talk will just mess you up..
I really loved the demo...
One web site said the game will have like 15 hours of play..

Seriously - why isn't anyone else looking forward to this? The demo was a freaking blast - I don't think my toes have been tapping that hard ever when playing a video game. Once you get in a rhythm it's quite easy to read what's happening on the screen, and to watch your little bug eyed bastards tossing the spears.
Too bad the demo's fairly short though - but you can extend your playtime by hunting more often and playing the trumpet for that stupid tree. But I can't seem to match up with his Bon Bobon Bobon request
I get the Bon bon bobonnnnn one, but not the next set

Can you save in the demo? I assume so since there'd be no other way for the retail game to give you the exclusive weapon.. I played for about twenty minutes on Sunday and had to shut it off (you know, portable game, short bursts and all).
Also, a four letter name restriction? In 2008? Really?

I've played through 4 missions so far I think. I've been doing the soft power down so I wouldn't have to restart the demo. I think the save comes at the end of the demo which carries over into the retail version.
