Anyone get EA Sports NFL Tour?

Just saw these videos on Yahoo today and the game looks interesting. Looks like a NFL version of NBA Jam like NFL Blitz. It does say there are easier controls.

I noticed that some retailers are selling it for $39.99, does anyone think that price is worth it?

I played the demo, seems pretty cool so far. That does seem like a good price.

All the reviews I've read for it have been terrible. I'll still download the demo though.

yeah the demo was kinda blah. the gameplay is sluggish and it seems like this game will go cheap in a couple of months.

if you are still interested in buying it, i think you can get it at cc for $40 with a $10 gc.

It seems like most of the NBA Jam-Street Ball style sports games always gets shitty reviews and ends up in the bargain bin.

I may be one of the few who actually liked the demo, but $39.99 is a rip off. This is a $20 - $25 game at best which is probably where it will be at in a couple of months.

I don't know why they just didn't redo NFL Street because that game was pretty fun.

The issue that earned it EGM's Shame of the Month is obvious just from the demo. There are two sides in sports, offense and defense, and the latter is weak, almost to the point of being nonexistent.

How a company could screw up a Blitz clone so badly in that area is baffling.

I don't know whether your comment means 'You can't be serious that the game screwed up defense that badly', 'You can't be serious EGM gave it their Shame of the Month award', or 'You can't be serious in your way-off analysis'... all three could fit.

But the game seems not even close to being good enough to devote any extra mental energy into cracking this tiny mystery.

complaining about lack of balance between offense and defense...when the whole point of Street period was offense. Implying that Blitz's defense was better when it wasnt (and I mean the old Blitzes; never bothered with the new ones).

and for the record, I shut out the computer 20-0 on the demo last night, so...
