Overall it was very funny, hilarious at times. Definitely the weakest of Judd Apatow's recent work (virgin, knocked up, superbad) but its also a different type of comedy, as it is more silly and less "real life" based. I'd give it 3 stars out of 4.

P.S. there's a LOT of great cameos from other Apatow films.

why do people always mention judd apatow with superbad, this movie, anchorman, talladega nights, etc. when he didn't write or direct them like 40YOV or knocked up, he just produced them?

Because that's how they're marketed.

like tarantino's other movies, hero and hostel 1 and 2.

Because they're all marketed as "From the guy who brought you KNOCKED UP, THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN, and SUPERBAD"

I wish they would stop doing that because I have only really like the 40 Year Old Virgin, the rest were blah...

For someone like me that marketing plan does not make me want to see the film.
