Ok. I think it was from The Onion, but I remember reading (originally here) a review of American Beauty and how the reviewer originally loved the movie, realized it was not all that great and did a follow up review. Anyone know what I'm talking about? This was about a year or two ago.

Didn't Roger Ebert do something like this a few years back?

I thought I would have remembered if it were him. I could have sworn it was Scott Tobias or someone like him. I'll keep checking.
