Ok. I think it was from The Onion, but I remember reading (originally here) a review of American Beauty and how the reviewer originally loved the movie, realized it was not all that great and did a follow up review. Anyone know what I'm talking about? This was about a year or two ago.

does anyone, at least, remember what I'm talking about? maybe it was rotten tomatoes where a reviewer originally loved American Beauty, but after years of thinking how trite and cliched it was, he wrote a different review.
