The transfer has been remastered, so it does look better. However, it's been cropped and zoomed in. There are comparison screenshots all over the web so you can determine if that's a deal breaker for you.

That's pretty much the debate...however on BulletsNBabes they said Campbell supervised the extras so perhaps he looked over the transfer as well. Personally, I didn't even notice until I read that thread so I was still absorbed into the movie. However, it's not about what I prefer but rather what is right, which is still a mystery at this point.
As for similar cropping issues, A View To Kill seems slightly cropped on some sides, however the opening scene is extremely cropped which can be seen in the 3rd set of comparison pics here.
