The Professional ?

I see Leon The Professional in the list over at covers and such but does someone have the picture of the slipcover and regular cover, Im trying to figure out what copy I purchased, its coming up with the DE on DVD Profiler but the cover is differant. The cover I have has Leon standing pointing a gun in full color, is this the original cover underneath the slip cover?

Sorry for the repost, I wasnt getting any answers over at covers.

My brain hurts from reading your post

There must be a hundred threads dealing with Leon and the various versions of it

I can't be bothered looking them up for you though

Yessir, that is the original cover underneath the slip cover for the Deluxe Edition. After a little while, it seems all the copies that were popping up (from what I've seen anyway) were without the slipcover.

Yeah, the copy I got from Columbia House didn't have the slipcover, which really pissed me off. Aside from the fact that I'm a completist at heart, I really like the art on the slip cover.

I agree for the most part. But then, as a forum, have we ever decided what is the best way to tell people that they should have done a search?

I usually am the type to just answer their questions and not mention their "mistakes", but if everyone did that we'd have even more clutter of useless threads.

I'd be ok with mods posting a generic, "Welcome to the forum. This topic should not be in a separate thread, but in one of the threads already devoted to this title/subject. Please use the search function. Closing thread."

The art on the front of the insert should have been what was on the "underneath" cover IMO. Perhaps it would have felt like an overuse of the gimmick but both are pretty cool pieces of art.

I also always forget that this is a painting.
