I know they just recently released the first season of Pokemon, which I plan on buying. My two questions are:

#1: Why did they name the original series 'Indigo League'?

and

#2: What are the chances of the them releasing more of seasons?

1. They gave every subsequent season after the first a subtitle of some kind like Orange Islands, Johto Journeys, Master Quest, Battle Frontier, etc. I suppose they retroactively re-titled the first season to fit this pattern. It's called Indigo League because that's what Ash was competing in. He was trying to earn all the badges to participate in the tournament at Indigo Plateau.

2. I can't say for certain. If the first one sells enough, I'm sure they'll make more.

And just so you know the current boxset only has the first part of season one. The next release would have to be the second part.

Okay, thanks, because they did that I wasn't sure it that was truly the FIRST season, or the first season of a different series.

I hope they do release more I love this show!
