Opening (800 theatres or more)

The Messengers (new Pang Bros. horror movie)
Because I Said So 08%

For some reason, Epic Movie and Unaccompanied Minors are both expanding. Pan's Labyrinth is now over 1,000 screens and Letters from Iwo Jima is at over 700.

I'd like to see Pan's Labyrinth or Volver but I may not make it to the theatres this weekend.

You?

Now that Little Children has FINALLY showed up at a nearby theater, I will certainly be seeing that tomorrow.

Odd considering it's been in less and less theatres for about 3 weeks now.

The reason Unaccompanied Minors is probably expanding as it will most likely be hitting the dollar theaters this weekend.

Probably The Queen (at least that is what I'd pick) but it is my wife's pick this week (since I picked Pan's Labyrinth last week) so we might see Notes on a Scandal or something else.

The Superbowl is on Sunday, and even that at night, so I have until 5:30 on Sunday to knock out some movies. Tonight, The Messengers. Tomorrow, still picking between The Last King of Scotland or Letters from Iwo Jima.

The weather in Chicago will be more of a deterent this weekend than the Superbowl.

This area usually gets the smaller releases eventually. I'm glad because I thought I would only be able to see this one on dvd.

Re-reading this I now see you said Little Children. I saw "Children" and thought you meant Children of Men.

Saw The Messengers today. We enjoyed it, though it seemed a little intense for a PG-13 flick.
