Wonder what this is all about. They pulled it from everywhere, even the website list of upcoming titles. Anyone have any ideas on this?

PS..

Perhaps they're trying to make it a better movie...

Well I heard it's delayed, but not indefinitely. The new date is 1/16/07 posted by one of the founding members of high def digest. See post #4.

You laugh, but I thought it wasn't that bad as a shallow thrill ride. I hope they include the theatrical version (in HD, not just on the DVD side, please), because I suspect that the additional scenes in the extended cut are mostly for character development near the beginning. If that isn't handled well, it would drag the movie down, and I also don't want to see another frame with Fergie in it.

i think i am one of the few people who actually enjoyed this movie. As crazy as it sounds it was the most entertaining flick I saw all summer in theaters. Even enjoyed it more than Superman lol

Poseidon is a decent movie. The reason is good is because it's so short. I would not spend a nickel on any extended cut.

Amazon uses the 12/31 date as a placeholder until the official street date is available.

according to digitalbits:

Poseidon will also include a new In-Movie Experience (IME), in which actor Josh Lucas discusses "the challenges of creating special effects and action on a water drenched set." Should be riveting.

This title has switched from combo to regular HD DVD release. Both Amazon.com and DVD Empire have new artwork with no mention of a combo. !!!!!!!!!!

DVD Empire also has the back cover up. No side B.
