That shot of Dumbledore's Army flying through the London night sky was great.

Ah, yeah, the trailers for these movies have always kicked ass.. it's the movies themselves that come up short. Oh well.. after four of them I've at least put my expectations in check so I'll be able to enjoy this one without being annoyed with things like introducing several characters by dropping them out of trees and announcing their names.

Wow, Harry really is growing up.

Very cool to have a movie series that shows the kids growing up each year, nothing like this has ever been done.

Can't wait, the whole family will be going to see the movie.

Exaclty...Now I can enjoy the movies without having a blistering headache while wondering where exactly they are going next or what else they will possibly cut out.

She is 16, so by the time she is filming the 7th movie, she will be legal. The last book or two had some steamy make-out scenes in it, so maybe book 7 will have Ron and Hermione doing the bad thing. I don't think Rowling would ever go that far with her writing, but we can always hope.

My 9 and 11 yr olds weren't very impressed/psyched about this trailer. Aren't they the target audience? Seems like the adults are more excited about this "kids movie" than some kids. I also think the HP movies have gotten progressively worse as they come out.

That's because the stories have become more adult oriented as the series has progressed and concurrently have become harder to adapt to the film medium.

I figured that a PG-13 film will have the target audience of 13 and above.

It's obviously geared toward teens as opposed to younger kids. Why else would they spend so much time promoting a kiss that wasn't really even in the book?

Quite honestly, the last time these were really geared toward little kids was with Chamber of Secrets (movie and book).

Bellatrix is going to be so awesome. Casting Helena Bonham Carter was an excellent choice.
