Saw 1, Saw 2, and Saw 3 back to back to back for $20

Hey all,

A local theater here in Madison, WI is showing all 3 Saws in a row for $20.... Kinda cool, I guess. It's nice to see theaters breaking from the norm...

Later,

Matt

It's a neat idea, but I've tried this before (with both the Indiana Jones and the original Star Wars trilogies) and it was very hard to make it through all three films. Of course, the Saw flicks are a lot shorter, so it may be easier.

I remember they showed the first 5 Star Trek films in a single marathon showing in L.A. Everyone got a t-shirt that said on the back "Sit Long and Prosper".

I was debating doing this (since I live about 1 mile away from Point theater in Madison) but conflicts came up.

I did their Lord of the Rings Extended Edition marathon a few years ago and absolutely LOVED it!

Just a reminder that the special showings are happening tonight. Also, the Madison, WI theater added a second showing starting at midnight, which means it'd end around 5:00am.

I think they meant an added showing of 'Saw 3' at midnight, so it'd end around 1:30-2:00am

If they did, it's a screwup, since there's a separate page for Saw 3 showings, and the ticket purchase page lists it as being the trilogy and 5 hours long. However, the tickets only cost as much as a regular movie, so it's likely it's just a midnight showing of Saw 3.

One thing to note is that both the trilogy showings are supposidly on the Ultrascreen, of which there's only one of at the theater. So maybe the 12:01 ticket is just for seeing the Saw 3 part of the trilogy screening? I'd maybe call the theater before buying the tickets for that.
