I come out of theatres most satisfied in October

Saw Flags last night and that makes it 3-for-3 for movies I've seen this month that left me satisfied coming out of the theatres. I was thinking that historically, I've probably had the highest rate of satisfaction from movies I've seen in October (or very close to October). Recent examples I can think of include Sideways and Lost in Translation.

Don't take it personally. Groucho makes fun of everything.

I think January has usually been a good month for me, because that's when a lot of the oscar contenders and other limited releases expand. I've seen Adaptation, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and The Royal Tenenbaums in that month.

Oh I don't take it personally, that was supposed to be a variation of Vern's "pick on the fat kid" from Stand By Me. Come to think of it, I half-wish I had used looneyupinTogus as my username. Se la vi.
