Trade 4 get 1 Free (Warehouse/Sam Goody/FYE/Suncoast/Coconuts) $26.99 Value!

Hey all!

Great trade-in deal going on at the above stores. Trade in 4 DVDs get any NEW dvd $26.99 or less for FREE. If the price is OVER $26.99 you just pay the difference. There are exclusions, and its bases upon stock and managers discretion.

This is somewhat comparable to the $8 trade-in at BlockBuster deal I broke 2 or so years ago.

This works on DVDS, TV on DVD, Boxsets, etc. My Warehouse did not sell HD-DVDs or Blue Ray so I did not try it on that.

People on CAG have been saying it'll be good until the 20th. Lots are reporting that they are geting different results at different stores, with some claiming that some titles weren't accepted or that they weren't allowed to get something more than $26.99 and pay the difference. I'd call ahead before heading out.

If you guys come up with any good deals, please post them.

Manager at mine said she didnt see why they couldnt let you pay the difference, but it wouldnt be till tuesday that she could let me know/do it either way. Hope so cause im going to trade in 4 for Lost. She also told me if they already have alot of copies of something, they wont take it. She specifically cited Me Myself and Irene and Mean Girls as examples.

Y ou must choose something there. No store credit period.

They accepted crap from me, and turned awaygood movies. I guess the good movies are the ones most often traded in. Stuff like Zombi 3, 4 and 5 were accepted.

I traded in about 4 or 5 wrestling dvds and a 2 low budget ones and got $38 in the form of a gift card. I remember they gave me $5.50 each for the wrestling DVDs. I was very suprised. I got Appleseed Special Edition tin and Resident Evil/Resident Evil Apocalypse set for $46.00 and paid the difference.

I'll have to check this out at the Rockefeller Center FYE (all the Suncoasts in Manhattan have gone away) but there have been other deals at FYE that the NYC stores don't participate in. I have a few very serious crap DVDs that would be great to dump.

Most credit for DVDs is about $2-$4. My Zombi's for example were $3 each.

Well, I'd hardly call that crap. Those were all major label releases. I'd be shocked if they didn't take them.

The wrestling DVDs were WWE events and one of them was the Hardy Boys Leap of Faith DVD.

They'll probably refuse 28 Days Later and Insomnia because of the high number of used copies already in the company. The rest should be fine.
