22.95/21.95 vs 19.95???
This is probably a stupid question, but what decides whether a DVD is 22.95/21.95 or 19.95 when using the B1G1 code? I see all the posts talking about maximizing value and using the webdvd $5 to get totals from 39.90 to 34.90, yet I can never seem to get the original to 39.90 unless I have two pre-orders involved.
For instance, they say they're on sale for 19.95 but go to their original price in the cart. I know it's only $5 extra or so but I just wasn't sure if people were just searching out regularly priced 19.95 selections in order to maximize value or if I was doing something incorrectly. Unless I have two pre-orders involved most of my totals end up being around:
44.90 - $5webdvd = 39.90 +12.89 = 52.79/11 = 4.79/dvd
Is there anything I should be doing to maximize my value per DVD further? Thanks!

For BOGOF purposes the price of a DVD should be the regular Columbia House price, not a "sale" price. Sale prices would only apply to DVDs bought without using the BOGOF offer. Pre-orders sometimes have the regular price lowered until release date. That's why they seem to work at the "sale" price.
Why you can't get two $19.95 DVDs to add up to $39.90 (or $34.90 with $5 off) I couldn't say. But BOGOF has some quirks in how it applies and depending on what order one enters the DVDs in the cart. In general, one can't get box sets or pre-orders for free but they work ok as regular price titles (there are some exceptions however). Also, when you enter two titles of different regular or "special" price, the offer will usually choose the higher priced one as the one priced and the cheaper one will be free.
You will have to play around with titles or list the ones you want and see if others here can get them to be priced correctly.
