Hopefully changes will come to the Columbia House TV Club
I spoke with a CSR tonight for quite some time about the CHTV Club after being asked if I was interested in joining. I explained to him that I have already had several accounts with the TV club and that there is no longer anything that entices me to join again. I made some suggestions to him about them 1)Making some changes to the layout of the website and 2)Offering some newer selections as enrollments. He said that he too had noticed the stagnant choices on that site and said that he will speak with the upper management and try to get some changes going. I guess that Ch has recognized that fewer and fewer people are interested in the TV club as it is and are looking to make some changes. I sure hope this is true as I really enjoy collecting tv sets but I dont want to get some just for the sake of collecting. My hope is that we will start seeing sets that have been out for 6 months slowly become enrollments. In reality CSI Season 4 should already be an enrollment but they hold onto it like it is gold. The same applies to some of the other sets that have been released in the last year and half or so.

It's obvious that CH wants people to start their collections with enrollments and then complete them by purchasing the remaining seasons at regular club prices. I'm skeptical about the possibility that they'll start offering the later seasons, but it would certainly be nice if they offered some new selections.
What'd be really nice is if they'd stop dropping/losing distributors.
