Recently discovered at CH - 1982 Cat People (what else?)
Just fyi for anyone interested in this Universal title. CH hasn't had this in the past, but they now carry it. This happens once in awhile (appearance of a minor title) and I don't think we've had a good system for finding these since the demise of the older data miner. I'll invite others to post similar such findings as they occur.
In my case, I use DDD's wish list system to keep track of DVD's that I may be interested in that CH doesn't carry (mostly Fox and Disney titles, but also some that CH could carry but doesn't). Once in a while, I'll stumble accross one now available at CH.

Just a tip: You can get Cat People from DDD for $6.32 right now from their Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale (lots of other good stuff available) if you want to use your CH selection for something priced higher. BTW...even though some have disparaged this version of Cat People (especially compared to the original B-movie classic), we both love it...saw it in the theater when it came out & thought it was classy with some great scary moments. Good soundtrack, too, with a great David Bowie theme song over the credits.

Yep. IIRC, that David Bowie "melody" plays in background in various parts of the film as well. Thanks for the DDD tip. I'll probably wind up using it as CH "filler" (to fill out an enrollment order or as a cheap third for free shipping). I like to have a few like that on deck.
