Is this lost or a decline?

Hey all, submitted an app on 1/14 using one of the codes in the "better codes" thread that allows you to put in the CC# at the end. Got the "we're processing your application" email almost immediately. I also saw the temporary charge on the CC.

As of today, the temporary charge is gone and there's no real charge. No further emails.

Is it possible this could still get approved? I don't want to submit another app for the same titles and duplicate it. I don't currently have an open account.

Thanks,

- AB

You should wait at least a week, preferrably two.

I just had an account approved this week, it literally took them 6 weeks to get it approved.

I would submit different titles.

Wow, I've been waiting for approval since 1/4 and was about to re-submit same titles. That's a lot of patience...

I submitted one on 1/5 over the phone and still haven't heard a word.

I am just wondering, do they ever reject applications? If they do, is there any reason for it? I'm just curious because, I emailed [email protected] and they said that "details about your membership is being sent over the mail..." without giving me any more details on my application. Not sure how to interpret that really. And this is my first account, so it seems kind of strange.

They reject applications all the time. They just don't tell you about it.

Also, I just called in now and they said that my application is being processed after i returned two duplicate enrollment packages.

I really wish they'd approved my 1/4 app as I could have fulfilled it with B1G1. I thought maybe they were waiting to approve it until the deal expired, but I signed my sister up for the TV club two days ago and it was approved today! Already fulfilled the account using B1G1 just now...

First time applications are almost always approved. It is likely that you are in. I presume that you would like to get your account number but it appears that you will have to call in for that and try to persuade them to give it to you.

I tried calling the them (800-667-0364) but they require you to enter an account number in order to speak to them. So I'm at a loss on how to ask them. I also emailed them, but they apparently are pretty slow at getting back.

Did you use the technique that I posted in the How to phone CH without an account number thread? (Might not work on weekends if they don't staff the phones.)
