"Pilot"

Spoiler:
The wife of a man convicted of robbery and murder 13 years earlier contacts the National Justice Project - an agency that focuses on cases where justice has not been served and innocent people have been wrongly convicted of crimes they did not commit -- to clear her husband's name. She also yearns to introduce him to the son he has never known while incarcerated.

Finally something decent to watch on Friday nights. I really miss Medical Investigation but this show slides into that void nicely.

Muad'Dib really fits the show and I like his style and his "please include me" persona.

Sure it got a little "sappy" at times, but I really like the pacing and the interaction of the characters.

The only character that I don't like is the pathological liar Jon (Daniel Cosgrove from 90210 and Van Wilder)... he's gonna get capped and no one is going to miss him.

Oh... and the internet porn company moving into the space next door was classic: "We're interviewing for receptionsists."

I've seen both episodes and it is incredibly contrived and set up to, step by step, ferret out the innocence of the client whose case they take. Sort of like Cold Case is incredibly contrived to, step by step, ferret out the real killer from x years ago. Yet I like seeing justice, even if long delayed, finally done and both In Justice and Cold Case are entertaining so I have to admit I like both of these programs.

Agreed.

... and it makes me wonder when they'll show the first epsiode where they miss the mark and the person stays in jail. You know its bound to happen just like when the folks in Without a Trace finds their 'missing person' dead.

I wonder why they aired the pilot 2nd? I watched this before I watched the Sunday premiere episode. I agree with movielib - incredibly contrived, but entertaining. Seems like all they need to do is brainstorm and somebody has an epiphany.

Also strange that Kyle Mclaughlin is considered the lead. The guy (don't know his name) from The Agency clearly is the lead.

Oh and Marisol Nichols.

I agree that it's not great but it is entertaining. I like Kyle MacLachlan's character as well.

I take it next week is when they take the case of

This show is actually good. Don't let the weepy music in the preachy promos fool you. Good plots and funny characters. And the women. Very nice.
