I have the same e-mail in my newest unfulfilled account. It does indeed state for '1 DAY ONLY' yet in the details it has the expiration as 11:59 P.M., 12/18.

I had the e-mail, but when I clicked on it (on either of the accounts I received the e-mail with) it said triple on the banner, but was only giving me double in my cart, and it was free shipping for three. I used the above code, it worked for triple, and it's free shipping on any order!
Too bad I really shouldn't be buying any DVDs right now...

Ghostbusters 1 & 2 Double Feature Gift Set $14.96

very tempting in spite of the devaluation of funcash.
Also note that there are several (less attractive) "sets" that sell for $11.xx and gives you $12 funcash.

I really hope that you don't get screwed over like I just did.

I took advantage of the recent BOGOF deal they ran last weekend and placed a few orders. My first one consisted of 8 DVD's and I also opted for expeditade shipping. My package arrived a couple of days later with just 2 of the movies in and notice that one was out of stock. However, I was missing another 5. After waiting I finally called and was told I had to poay the $16 balance first before they would ship out the next couple. Not the remainder of the order mind, but just 2 of them.

I told them to cancel the remainder of all orders and that I would pay the outstanding balance and then they could close my account.

They've just been screwing me around the last couple of months and I finally had enough!

Good Luck to you!

I don't know how long you've had your account open, but I used to have that problem too. I then decided to keep one regular DVD club open and fulfilled at all times and then cycle accounts for the other ones. So, with my regular fuflilled DVD club account that I have had open for over 4 years now I have never had any problems. I use bill me later and they don't even blink an eye when I make orders for over $400! So, I think when you build a long enough consistent relationship (i.e. not cycle an account) they will "trust" you more.

Thats why you should use a credit card and pay up front for the order.

YEah, I would hardly call that "getting screwed". More like "cutting off your own nose to spite your face".

I was really more bothered about the fact that I placed an order consisting of 8 DVD's and they only sent me 2 and then expected me to pay for them even though I requested expedited shipping for that particular order.

I definitely understand having to pay for that order before shipping out the others.

The account that this happened was actually the most recent one that I opened. I did have another account open in which that never happened and they would always send me an order no matter how many DVD's it consisted off.

Just a bad yesterday that's all and felt like venting

Hi guys, once I place an order and earn this (triple) FC, can I use the FC right away or do I have to wait until they charge my CC and ship my order?

normally FC will be in your account straight after you make your order and you can use it then.

That's what I do, but that is the only option that I've always been given. How exactly do you even get billed? I never understood why I couldn't be billed, yet there was a page to make payments. How exactly could I make payments if I can't get billed? Furthermore, the music club always allowed billing for me. So how do you get billing as an option?

Not me. I have two options: use card on file or use a different card. No billing option anywhere.

There have ben a couple of times when I placed an order online and was already to complete the order when I noticed the "bill me"option wasn't showing up.So I called and placed the order over the phone.I told him/her that I wanted to be billed instead of using a cc.The orders arrived with a bill.

Thinking about it now , it may be the opposite. If you get your enrollments with a bill, your next order can be changed to credit card online. I guess like any other company, they just want to be sure they get payed

Where do you put in the code?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. This code is dead.
