Public Therapy a la Lindsay lohan's Confessions of a Broken Heart - Yay or Nay?

I just saw the vidoe and it is indeed powerful. However I can't see making a video like that about my family. The same thing with P!nk, specially her second CD (can't think of the title now but the one with "Don't Let Me Get Me"). There just something that bothers me about looking into Lindsay Lohan's homelife - she should definitely go to therapy if she has issues to work out, but is a public forum the right venue for venting? If I were the dad, that would not help the relationship.

Pretty much the same answer as to the question "Should Lindsay Lohan be allowed to make another album?"

...nay.

I agree. All creative works should be as bland as possible. No one should ever create art that is personal, cathartic, or a way to work through personal demons or issues. Van Gogh and John Lennon were hacks. So was Tennessee Williams.

Yes, but with cookie-cutter artists like Loohan, is this really a personal look at her crises, or is this just more manufactured crap to make her look like a "real" artist?

Agreed. Interest in her career varies in direct proportion with her bust size.

It was a bit shaky there for a while. With the blonde hair and the bones protruding from her skin. But shes coming back into focus. I still miss those melons though .

I don't think it's anything more than another tool to boost sales. The only reason she's doing this is because she keeps trying to one up Hilary Duff and Ashlee Simplson. She probably never will in chart status, but she gets enough sales from her songs on Radio Disney to make it worth it.

She looked best in Mean Girls, she should have never skinnied up and lost the twins. I prefer Herbie fully loaded.

Hilary Duff's "Fly" blows anything Lohan has done out of the water. Many people thought it was Evanescesesnenneseesscce.
