Friends Season 10 date!
I get anywhere between 5-15 emails a day asking when season 10 will be out...

A nice custom case for all 10 seasons. Probably not available for all of us chumps that supported the single season releases as they came out. A nice little reward for those who waited though. Does anyone else think this kind of crap sucks ass?
Sorry for the above language but it's pretty tame compared to how this really makes me feel.

A 43 minute gag reel? Finally some input from the core cast (hopefully)? Nice.
By the way, I didn't watch this season when it originally aired, although I have seen every other season. How does this season compare to the others? For reference, I found season nine the weakest of all, with the "peak years" being between about season two and when Monica and Chandler got married.

You're right about the quality of the show. The last two seasons had dipped a bit but they were still more fun to watch than most other sitcoms if for no other reason than the emotional investment you've made and the familiarity you've established with these characters.
I'm glad to see a blooper reel of that length - these bloopers are some of the best on DVD, movies included!

Thanks for the great news. Will definately be picking this one up. I hope they will put the Rembrandts music video on there. Its on the Final Episode dvd but not on any of the season sets. Please oh please Warner Bros, put this on the 10th season set.

Can't wait for this to come out, and that gag reel sounds fantastic (assuming it is new footage and not just sticking all the previous ones in).
It sucks about the whole series DVD set though, I wish I'd waited for that now

From DVD Times:
"Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Friends: The Complete Tenth Season for 15th November 2005 priced at $44.98 SRP. The tenth and final season comes to R1 DVD including all 18 episodes with never-before-seen footage and extensive bonus features, including a 45-minute gag reel!
Features on the four-disc set include:
* 4:3 Full Frame
* English language
* English, French and Spanish subtitles
* 3D Animated Menus
* Additional Scenes
* Audio Commentary
* Documentaries
* Featurette
* Gag Reel
* Interviews
* Music Video
Also available on the same day is Friends: The One With All Ten Seasons Collector's Box priced at $299.98 SRP. This set includes all ten seasons in a limited edition collector's box."
Hopefully "Music Video" refers to the theme song music video. It looks like a rather loaded set, actually, slightly more so than the other seasons.

I wonder if this DVD set will contain the extended cut of the finale as in the season finale DVD, or if they'll just keep it as the broadcasted version with maybe an extra minute or two on it, to let the season finale DVD keep selling.

TVShowsOnDVD now has more info. on the Collector's set. Though it isn't finalized, there's word that WB may find a way to those who have purchased previous Season Sets to get their hands on the Collector's Box. Here's hoping.

Hopefully we get at least ONE cast commentary.
