Were the colors muted/faded purposefully or...
was it just the film print i saw. in the beginning it was so noticeably bland and colors were muted. yellowish, almost faded. i am not sure if this was to keep it in line with the original trilogy which it very much did or if my print was off.
anyone else notice this?
either way this epic was so much more in line with the original trilogy in color, in crafts, in overall feel. what an unbelievable end to an unbelievable saga!!!

You probably saw it in one of those theaters where management dims the bulb in the projector. I've seen ROTS twice in two different theaters...first theater, looked great (bulb at full capacity - thank you, Carmike), second theater (hello, Cinemark!) colors quite muted looking and hard to see many of the details in the background I saw on my first viewing.
