Movies along the lines of Memento, Usual Suspects, Primal Fear?

I love movies like this...don't know what the genre is called exactly. I just love movies that make you think. Like right now, "Lost" is my favorite show on TV - you can predict and try to figure out what things mean and what's going to happen.

So what movies, new and old, fit that description that I should check out? Thanks a lot.

I could recommend perhaps Presumed Innocent starring Harrison Ford.

Confidence comes to mind. I really enjoyed that one.
and the Big Lebowski comes to mind too, but I don't know if that is quite what your looking for. Take it or leave it, I guess.

Amateurs might call out Donnie Darko. So I'm getting it out of the way. Check out some foreign films including:

The Seventh Seal
Ikiru
Taste of Cherry

In fact more foreign films leave you wondering than American ones.

"I Inside" was just released . . . it was pretty good (although I had it pegged in the first few minutes).

Seems to me a lot of the Miike films fit that category (twist/shocker endings)... you have to sortof dig foriegn films to watch them tho IMO.

Unforgettable

All are John Dahl movies and all are great!

I am not sure about the availability of these on DVD though.

Edit sorry I haven't seen Unforgettable.

I don't see the connection between the "genre" of the movies in the title, so I'm left wondering what exactly you're looking for. Films with a twist ending? Or are you looking for movies that make you think (of the ones in your title, Memento is the only one that meets that criteria in my humble opinion). Either way, I'll recommend these since they seem to fall in line with the titles you mentioned (and I'll also second "PopcornTreeCt's" entire post):

Following
God Has a Rap Sheet
Magnolia (kinda)
Sex and Lucia
Anything Shyamalan, even though I hate him.

Oh, and "Night and Fog" will make you think for a wholly different reason.

Thanks for all the ideas. To clarify what I was looking for...yes, movies that make you think. Yes, movies with twist endings. Yes, mind-fuck movies. Anything other than the typical drama/action/horror movie, really. And I'm not much into horror, per se. I like things that are scientifically possible - not a huge sci-fi fan. Not into aliens and monsters, etc. . I guess that's why I had the movies I did listed - they aren't beyond the realm of possibilities.

A lot of movies mentioned seem to fit what I'm looking for, I plan on picking some up for this weekend.

Any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

How about Solaris. Not everyone's cup of tea, but definitely a mind fuck film.
