Academy "Politically Correct" Awards
I just love the Academy Awards! They pick the best movies in the world to win (sarcasm) BUT the funny thing is...I have never seen any of them except for million dollar baby and I hated it. Worst movie ever)!! The Ratings have dropped. The awards are dying. They need to include movies that actually do well such as the Passion of Christ. That movie was historically acurate (but very politically incorrect) and was a great movie showing Christ's Crucifixion. Even Harry Potter 3 blew all the awards in the show out of the water. I know some hear may start to flame me (bring it) but 99% of America will side with me and the ratings prove it. Hollywood sucks.
PS...Hillary Swank is indeed a man.

You just reminded me of some of the people Chris Rock interviewed outside that theatre (it shown during the awards). None of them had seen any of the big awards movies but had all seen and enjoyed White Chicks.

Tay you have to remember you're at a sight where Film Lovers congregate and who tend to be Film Snobs from time to time. Get ready to get flame broiled like an all beef patty.
How dare you have an opinon that doesn't fit!

Yes Tay, there's nothing more "politically correct" than heaping awards on a movie that supports euthanasia.

At least get a fact straight before going off -- geez!
http://famulus.msnbc.com/famulusgen/...ts=22820050755
"The Oscars' 30.1 rating in Nielsen Media Research's 56 top markets was a slight 1 percent improvement over last year's comparable number, and the highest-rated Academy Awards in the metered markets since 2000. The rating is an estimate that nearly 33 million households were tuned in.
Wait, I just re-read your "post": did you actually see Million Dollar Baby? The one I saw was not so politically correct and certainly a far better film than Passion of the Christ!
You spout nonsense!

First of all, that was REALLY mature of you...grow the hell up
Second of all, a movie that makes a lot of money its automatically any good...and vice versa...meaning that a movie that makes less arenīt automatically crap. I think that people like you were portrayed pretty good in the "what movie did you watch" segment with Chris Rock where he asked people in cinemas what thay watched

didn't this argument happen before? I seem to remember someone saying that such and such movie was horrible that had received critical acclaim, but that Van Helsing is the best movie ever and so on. Anyone else remember this?
