I've already seen Asia Argento's boobies. And I doubt they'd be in the director's cut anyway. No need to buy it.

I don't know, Mao, the xXx sequal trailer looks pretty decent.

I'm betting the UR-DC of xXx will include some new T&A shots of the girly girls in the flick. Hoenstly, I haven't watched my xXx DVD since it came out over 2 years ago.

xXx was fun in some ways. I mean, shit blew up, really big. And there were a couple stunts in there that were mighty impressive, like the motor bike jumping over the exploding building. When I watched how they did that, I must say I was impressed. I figured there was some compsiting special effects, but essnetially they just jumped a bike over a building and blew it up with some precision timing.

So, yeah the movie is beyond stupid, but it's got some nice bang bang blow shit up moments done the old fashioned way. Which, I must admit, I enjoyed. If you watch the movie like it's the Forrest Gump of action movies (ie a retarded man stumbling his way to success, which, by all means, the xXx character is an idiot but the movie doesn't seem to notice) then, it's more fun.

This will be the third version of xXx. They already released a SE and a Superbit. Maybe this time they can release a Superbit Deluxe, like they should have on the first attempt.

Is this a legitimate re-release or mostly a gimmick (new transfer, extras)?

Might grab Silverado since I don't have it, but I already have XXX on DVD and will probably not double dip (not the best of movies, but it sure sounds amazing).

The director commented on these scene being removed for ratings, on the original DVD...

--Extended party scene in the castle, containing a more explicit version of the pole dance scene (which was later trimmed down for a PG13 rating).

--R-Rated version of Yorgi receiving a phone call from someone with information on Xander Cage. It features three nude girls on a bed behind him.

Yeah, that don't sound like much to get excited about for XXX 1.5, but the Silverado Superbit sounds interesting. I've got the single-disc edition, but IIRC the transfer isn't all that great. It's not bad, but could definately use a higher bitrate.

As for XXX, I always thought of it as a new 21st Century version of James Bond. Cheesey gadgets and over-the-top action sequences.

I already have both XXXs, but if they include a movie ticket I will make a third purchase. Silverado and Dts, no doubt I will purchase this edition.

Ironically I just watched my copy of xXx three days ago. Doesn't sound like there's enough on the new release to warrent an upgrade for me. What's this about the death of Xander Cage? Originally I heard that if the movie did well enough that there would be a series of them with Vin Diesel. When I heard about the sequel and no Vin, I thought "Hollywood broke the first rule of making a successful sequel."
