xXx is not a movie I watch enough to really warrant a re-purchase. I do not plan on seeing the sequel in theaters, so the free ticket is of no value to me. Also, this new version does not seem to have the Gavin Rossdale - Adrenaline music video.

I was going to make a thread on this a few weeks ago. I took part in an online survey and it was all about the XXX: Director’s cut. They asked questions pertaining to my interest level in an unrated cut and also wanted my input on the dvd cover itself. They had like 4 different covers they were considering. I could care less and will not be buying this one, like a previous poster said I haven’t watched since it was released Feb 03.
The Silverado 2-disc superbit will kick ass. I just watched the original dvd a few months ago, but a dts track will make me double dip for sure. One of my favorite Westerns. Hopefully the gun shots and the horses running around will resonate like Open Range.

It looks as though the new XXX DVD isn't gonna have any of the features from the original DVD, unless the Deleted Scenes are edited back into the film.

When I heard about the sequel and no Vin, I thought "Hollywood broke the first rule of making a successful sequel."
I'm sure that when they get a better script to warrant a real sequal with vin there will be another movie. I can't wait to see Vin do another xxx movie.
I've beeen waiting to pick up XXX Superbit but I might get the 2 Disc coming out soon only if the price is right and since it has that free movie ticket

You couldn't stand the movie or Vin?

Then again, I liked 2 Fast 2 Furious more than the first one, so that might not be saying much.

It's interesting to read how many people, both here and other forums, detest Vin Diesel...and at the same time, scanning the U.S. box office reports for 'The Pacifier' (currently at 74 mil and climbing) - there must be a sizable following for this guy. Is it because (ie. the film) of the family friendliness of it or does Vin have an underground army of fans who keep silent about their guilty pleasure?

Picked it up w/ some credit at BBV and the free ticket is only good for $7.50... cheap bastards
Good enough for a matinee only I guess.
Also for an unrated movie, it says PG13 before the film.

Watched the new dvd... not bad. Worth upgrading if you dont have it or trading in your old one like i did. It has all the old extras here. The Death of Xander cage was nice, hot chick, rammstein music, and some good gore at the end.
