I want to get it, but I'll be picking it up used I think. Is there much more to it besides just the snowball concept?

This game is just FUN. I had a blast with it. I got home with it about 5 or so hours ago and I sat through and beat it in one sitting! This is very unusual for me as I usually only play for 2 hours or so at a time. But I just couldn't wait to see what bigger things I could pick up.

Yeah, it's short, but it could be some of the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time.

It's only $20. How much cheaper are you going to find it used?

It's in their ad today for $14.99. Sounds silly but fun.

Only thing is , i believe this will turn into like REZ or something else. A great game no one will get right away, after like 9 months people will want it and it will be really hard to come by.

I got one at work the other day, and prob going to get another one just incase my ps2 eats it.... one of the best games i have played in a while.

Had to scoure Fry's to find a copy hidden in the bargain PS2 racks. Got it though!
Hate to jump on the hype wagon, but damn, it really is fun. What a strange, ultra-simple concept for a game and I have no idea why it could possibly be fun to roll over sushi or tree frogs with a sticky ball and consider that a game -- yet it is. Also cool is the fact that I can actually "play" this game with my 3 yr old. She isn't competitive, of course, but she can clearly see that she's doing something with her little character and that made her day.

Attention fence-sitters : Buy the damned thing (if you can find it). It's worth $15 - $20 absolutely.

Yeah - for sure, it's worth 15-20 bucks. This goes right up there with Rez, Frequency, Amplitude, Disaster Report, Ico and Mr. Mosquito (and probably surpasses most of them)

Just placed my order. For $20, why not? (Too bad there aren't any Fry's stores around me, and it's not listed anywhere on Outpost.com). I'm surprised at the rave magazine/website reviews and fantastic word-of-mouth. If this game lives up to its hype, I'm in for a treat. With that said, despite all the love this game is getting from everyone, I'm trying not to fall into the trap of building my hopes up too, too much and thus setting myself up for disappointment.

Another thumbs up. Got the game yesterday from EB and it's a lot of fun. I was going in to pick up my preordered Donkey Konga and picked it up on a whim after reading the good reviews. I ended up playing it more than Konga. But, as usual, the gaming eventually turned over to Ghost Recon Live.

I actually found three copies at my local Bestbuy. I thought this would be too much of a niche title for BB to order, but i guess I was wrong. 15 bucks after the usual coupon...

Yeah, me too. I went to Best Buy the other day looking for something else, and I didn't think they'd have Katamari Damacy. I took my coupon just in case, and sure enough, there it was. A pleasant surprise...just like the game itself.

imo, i think this is the kind of game that is right up pixy's alley... don't we have a language filter though?

all this good buzz made me buy it today. it's pretty widely available online. my local bestbuy didn't have it.
