Rashomon Storytelling - do you feel ripped off?
In movies where the story is told from different points of view and maybe only 1 POV turns out to be correct do you feel ripped off? Its kinda like, why did you waste our time with this? What's your opinion?

Only if they're done right. I thought Courage under Fire did a pretty good job with it.

Rashomon is brilliant. Even if only one view is true, people honestly can see the same event but remember it wildly differently from each other or from how the actual event happened. To them, their version really IS how it happened, regardless of the facts of the situation.

Nope, I love Roshomon. If it's done correctly, the different POVs can be fun as you try to figure out who's telling the "truth."

No, it's merely a narrative device. I feel 'ripped off' by bad movies, so if it's used poorly, sure, I feel ripped off, but if it's used well, that's fine.
