Wow! I've wanted Maurice on DVD for years and I must say this DVD is perfect. The colors are rich. The sound is clear. The story is a classic. And to think I still need to watch the "extras" disc. Anyone else just as impressed?

But what about the explosion? How and why did that happen? Can you tell us more?

and the scenes involving intimacy are pretty hot too!

I have had a chance to explore the extras disc a bit. It's most impressive. In particular, I was struck by the number of deleted scenes and their length. These scenes aren't just snippets like the usual deleted scenes on major studio releases. Anyone listened to the commentary?
