From one of the best-known franchises in modern film and literature, this four-part series contains the classic Wonderful Wizard of Oz and three other adventures from the books of L. Frank Baum. Narrated by Margot Kidder, these animated classics are sure to delight the whole family! This four-part series, broadcast on HBO in 1987, was faithfully adapted from the best-selling Oz books by L. Frank Baum, and will be available on DVD for the first time on June 1st.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Emerald City of Oz, The Marvelous Land of Oz, and Ozma of Oz will be sold separately at a list price of $9.97 each, and as they are distributed by Warner Home Video they will be packaged in the "snapper" DVD cases

OT, but did anyone catch the Arrested Development that showed George Michael as a child watching Oz (i.e. the show about Oswald State Penitentary) as opposed to the Wizard of Oz? Brilliance

Hmmm... never seen these. I doesn't look like many others have either -- there are very few IMDb ratings. Someone on Amazon gave the Ozma video 5 stars and then admits to never having seen it.
Here's the only comments I could find, which are pretty vague:
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0094337/usercomments
If anyone has any links to more detailed info, please post! I'm definitely interested in this...

Huh? George Michael was like 40 years old when HBO's OZ was on.
And my answer is "yes, I did."
