Anybody Remember L.O.R.D.? (Old BBS Game)

I don't know if anybody else ever played "Legend of the Red Dragon" but this was a popular multiplayer "RPG" in the old BBS days. The game is actually still around via Telnet.

Anyway, I was poking around and I found that the author of LORD. now has a Flash game out called "Funeral Quest." It's actually similiar to LORD in a lot of ways, only now you are running a funeral parlor. Very funny in a morbid sort of way. Here's a link to a decent server to play it on:

Somebody has also done a sort of "remake" of LORD for the web as well. It's called "Realm of the Dragons." Check it out as well:

Both games are fun as a small daily diversion...and best of all they be FREE!

Yes... My brother and I use to tie up my parents phone line for hours playing L.O.R.D. Great game. Those where the days. I'll check out the links when I have some time.

Well, SOMEBODY from this forum has logged into FQ and started playing. I just got hit with a "bad luck" fortune cookie from Yangs...mentioning DVDTalk!

Hmm...

I remember playing it and getting "Laid" by the bar-maid I think and not knowing what it meant back then. Ah the good ole' days.

In my "BBS nostalgia" zeal, I found another game. This one is based on Trade Wars:

I wonder if there's a server with Planets TEOS. I preferred that to LORD. LORD2 was very cool(at the time) but when it came out everyone was migrating to AOL/Prodigy/Compuserve.

I used to play that, Pimp Wars, Trade Wars, and the Risk rip off daily!
