I'm just as excited that Fates Warning is part of the bill. In fact, I'd rather have them in the "co-headlining" slot.

What's the story on the feud between DT and QR, anyway? I know Portnoy has had some not-so-nice comments on QR's last few albums (and he's right), but does it go deeper than that?

They were all set to do a tour together in 2000, only to have Queensryche back out at the last minute as tour dates/venues were being booked, saying they were going back into the studio. What they really did was immediately sign on as the middle bill of Iron Maiden's "Brave New World" tour. Harsh words flew freely. I'm diggin that Chris is back in Queensryche...let's hope they deliver this time.

Damn! I've missed DT everytime they've come to Houston.

Should be pretty sweet!

Hopefully I'll get to see them, but right now most of my "concert funds" are reserved for the ProgPower Fest in Atlanta.

I had read a rumor that Symphony X may also join this line-up. I seriously doubt it, but man would that be sweet!!

Wow ... that's a small venue for such a large sound. Fine by me. Should be a kickass show.

I saw DT with King's X and Satriani there last summer and the venue was pretty much perfect. Could've used some more powerful air conditioning, but the sound was great. I'm there again for this show.

Wow! This is the first time I've ventured into the music forum. I'm glad I did. I had no idea there were this many DT/QR fans on the forum. That rocks!

They won't come anywhere near KY though. Better start planning a summer trip!

Have they listed ticket prices for the Atlanta show? Ticketmaster doesn't have the show listed yet, but I checked out a couple of the CA venues and prices were like $60. Seems a little steep to me, but I haven't been actively concert-going the last couple years so maybe that is how much they are now...

The 60 price for Humphreys (San Diego) is an aberration. It's a smaller venue I believe. The Concord Ca date has tix in the $29-40 range...

Minneapolis, people (band management). c'mon. add the date

So in these other cities, are they playing smaller, nice theater type places, or are these large club venues?

(when I saw DT here last year, it was in a historic theater downtown. The show rocked )

Dammit, last time Queensryche was here, Geoff said they would come back. They BETTER add a San Antonio date!
