her show totally sucked. for someone who is supposed to be a quality journalist she asked really stupid questions. when the miners got rescued, i swear she asked them if they had been scared. well, duh, i wonder what their answer was going to be?

She's been on a downward spiral ever since she told Newt Gingrich's mom to tell her something "off the record" and then aired it. Pretty much destroyed her credibility for good right there.

While I don't wish unemployment on anyone, well, maybe a few politicians..... I have never seen the big deal with Connie Chung.
I love Newsnight, it is pretty much the only thing I watch on CNN anymore but if Connie was there...bye bye. Besides asking simplistic questions, she came off as so insincere. She was like a walking parody.

I didn't follow that link, but from what I understood, they cancelled her show, and told her that she could stay and be used in another position, but she declined. I wouldn't say that she was fired, just cancelled, and voluntarily left.

And that Gingrich fiasco damaged her credibility forever regardless...

That's how I understood it too. I wonder where she'll end up.

I blame her downfall on Maury

Povich's show deserves the dumpster treatment too...for a long time now.

Judy Woodruff should be fired too.
