I have thought she was the only funny thing about the movie Pootie Tang and she is also great on Curb Your Enthusiasm. I am just glad she was able to carry over her talent into a show of her own. I hope this show bumps Cedric the Entertainer of the schedule.

What network is this on? UPN or WB? I didn't know she was getting her own show. I've only seen her stand-up act and she did a pretty memorable Crank Yanker bit
I think she's great! I'll have to catch it next week.

It seems like I've been waiting forever for her to get some significant exposure, and it has slowly built up to this show. I can thankfully say that I very much enjoyed the premiere. I'm not too sure about the other characters yet, but Wanda was in top form. I loved how the episode started off with her dictating the terms of getting fired and then filming the whole thing.

I saw her on Leno and she was hilarious. Like a female Chris Rock. Caught the fake announcements for the show, good stuff.
Didn't catch the show but it sounds like it's good. Next time.

It had some problems, but what pilot episodes don't? I found it to be funny, especially considering that it's on Fox!
The laugh track got to be a little annoying, especially in the beginning, when Sykes would say something normal, like "Look", and she walks the girl over to the mirror, the audience laugh track exploded with laughter. They need to time that better.

I liked it very much. Wanda's humor and personality didn't get lost admist the sitcom crap, and it was enjoyable to watch, suprisingly.
I didn't care for the overall look of the show, though. Very cheap, low-budget feel to it, and I don't think that's what they were going for. Hopefully FOX gave them more money to improve the sets and stuff, otherwise it'd be a rather ghetto-looking show.

Thought the premiere was okay.
I love her on Curb Your Enthusiasm, and she was very excellent and funny in those couple of eps she played love interest to Drew Carey in The Drew Carey Show (whatever happened to that show?)

I normally do not watch sitcoms, but I tuned in because I like Wanda Sykes and I really enjoyed it. I laughed harder than I normally do at sitcoms. Still hate laugh tracks, but I'll probably keep watching.

The "cheap" look it has is one that pretty much all sitcoms on Fox have. Actually, That 70's Show somehow avoided getting the cheap look. 70's Show looks like it belongs on another network. But many many many sitcoms that come on Fox have that "not quite right" look to them. I notice it every time Fox gets a new sitcom.
