No, I don't think that was a sneer - I think her upper lip was caught up on her big damn teeth and it couldn't find its way down.

I hadn't watched a full episode of Survivor since Australia ended.

I caught about 3/4 of an episode of Africa before I bailed and I think I may have caught ten minutes of Marquesas while I was channel surfing....but I'm back.

It's amazing, the formula is pretty much the same, but its compelling drama. If more reality shows strived to the same level of quality of Survivor and not Joe Bachlor(ette), reality TV wouldn't be so bad.

Good episode for once.

Shocking that as soon as the tribes merge we actually see a challenge that involves strength, rowing a boat.

I'm rooting for Tambaqui.

I like Dave's picks. Remember Jenna picked Alex before Dave had a chance to pick any men. I think they have a little disadvantage physically now with Butch & Roger matching up with Alex & Matthew.

The new tribes were given flags of ten Amazonian creatures and had to find five of them in a giant word-find. Then they had to row around this tiny island and grab the five flags that belonged to the creatures from the word-find.

Werd, I was thinking which one of the dumb azz guys spelled Jeanne as Gene, but to my astonishment it was revealed that it was the freaking Heidster. I know my spelling is teh suck, but dang at least I know I could have come up with a JEAN at least.

Heidi is a few trees short of a rainforest and Jabaru is one annoying tribe.

Someone needs to get a screencap of Heidi from the beginning of the episode where she was sitting there with her glasses on and her tongue hanging out of her mouth and put her quote beneath it about how she's one of the beautiful girls.

Actually, looks-wise, Jeanne was holding up pretty well compared to the other she-devils!

Great episode - I always love those Survivor twists.

How dumb is Heidi - not only did she essentially ensure her own demise (and probably all of the females down the road - both tribes) - maybe as soon as next week, but what is up with her name-spelling?

The change in Shawna was remarkable. I was wondering that Jenna was crazy for picking her, but it looks like it might work out.

Jenna is one dumb player to spill the beans to Dave with so little coaxing. Now you have to wonder how much Dave gave up besides the generic info (age, occupation). Jenna would not make a good poker player.

I think Heidi totally lost 2 votes (Jeanne and Christy's) on the jury with her betrayal of the women (to force a tie at tribal council). She didn't consider the big picture and roll the dice while also preserving some currency in the loyalty bank by booting "Gene" off the continent. If you force Jeanne and Butch to go into a tie-breaker, you still have a 50-50 chance that you'll have a few more days in the game (if Jeanne wins the tie-breaker and that gives you a 3-2 edge against the men, but if Butch wins, you still have a 50-50 chance between Christy and You at the next tribal council).

If the merge doesn't happen for another 3 tribal councils (I doubt they'll merge with only 10 left, but rather 8 are left), Heidi is out of the game regardless (if they lose 3 immunity challenges).

Heidi should have stayed the course and rolled the dice and prayed for Jeanne to win the tie-break. That was her best chance to make it to the merge.

Maybe Heidi thought her tribemate was screen legend Gene Tierney?

I thought it was funny how Shawna perked up as soon as the guys came into the tribe. That silly grin plastered to her face was hilarious.
