Simpsons 03/09/03

This was a pretty good episode, but there were two things in it that really made me laugh:

Spoiler:

1. The Joe Millionaire Promo running across the bottom of the screen at the beginning, leading to Homer to eat it (and spit it out, once he realized it was from Fox).

Spoiler:

2. Marge: "Somebody perform CPR!"
Homer: "I see a Bad Moon Rising"
Marge: "No, that's CCR!"

(Mightn't be the exact quote, but close enough!"

I don't want to read the spoilers, but can you state if it's a new episode?

That was the funniest ep in a while. The Fox news spot was hilarious. "comrade"

Homer eating the promo and the CCR jokes were good to.

How did you see it before it aired?

Awesome episode.

Just one question:

Do you think Krusty's gig as congressman will continue in the following episodes?

Sorry, this episode wasn't good. It actually had a plot, but the jokes just weren't funny. The only ones I laughed at were the two that movieking mentioned.

Carl: Shhh... it's a secret.

That episode had pretty decent flow to it, and I loved some of the political satire. It's one of the better ones from this season.

Yeah did you catch the stuff written that was crawling during the Fox News spoof? Instant classic.

The Fox promo and Fox News spoofs were pretty inspired. I found myself laughing more tonight than with any recent episode.

Grandpa on commode: "I think I've had this nightmare before."

Bart: "Well, the planes are finally flying back where they belong."
Homer: "That's right. Over the houses of poor people."

OMG! I'm only 2 minutes into this episode and I'm already laughing my ass off.

The Joe Millionaire Fox promo thing was absolutely classic.

Homer: I'm going to go calm my nerves with a nice, relaxing shave. Tissues please!

He actually says "I think I've had this dream before." Not to get picky, or anything.

I liked the bit with Kent Brockman.

Something like...

"This is live. How can I prove it's live? Penis!"

A great episode. The ending wasn't a let down for once, and there were tons of jokes. One of the best of the season.

I'm surprised there isn't a five page post complaining about the FoxNews spoof by now.

The FoxNews spoof had me in tears. This was easily the best episode of this season and the best I've seen in quite some time.
