Simpsons 03/09/03
This was a pretty good episode, but there were two things in it that really made me laugh:

(Mightn't be the exact quote, but close enough!" |
I don't want to read the spoilers, but can you state if it's a new episode?
|
Yup, new episode!
|
That was the funniest ep in a while. The Fox news spot was hilarious. "comrade"rotfl
Homer eating the promo and the CCR jokes were good to. "vote Quimby vote Quimby vote Quimby ahhhh" |
Holy crap, that was great.

Awesome episode.
Just one question: Do you think Krusty's gig as congressman will continue in the following episodes? |
Sorry, this episode wasn't good. It actually had a plot, but the jokes just weren't funny. The only ones I laughed at were the two that movieking mentioned.

Originally posted by Gallant Pig How did you see it before it aired? That episode had pretty decent flow to it, and I loved some of the political satire. It's one of the better ones from this season. |
Great episode. The Fox News spoof had me
|
Yeah did you catch the stuff written that was crawling during the Fox News spoof? Instant classic.
|
The Fox promo and Fox News spoofs were pretty inspired. I found myself laughing more tonight than with any recent episode.
Grandpa on commode: "I think I've had this nightmare before." Bart: "Well, the planes are finally flying back where they belong." Homer: "That's right. Over the houses of poor people." |
OMG! I'm only 2 minutes into this episode and I'm already laughing my ass off.
The Joe Millionaire Fox promo thing was absolutely classic. Homer: I'm going to go calm my nerves with a nice, relaxing shave. Tissues please! rotfl |

Originally posted by Deftones He actually says "I think I've had this drea before." Not to get picky, or anything. ;) |
Originally posted by Gallant Pig drea? I thought it was dream. :D what a place to get a typo. :D hey, I like your quote by me in your sig. so this is what it's like to be misquoted. :D |
Yeah I had to spice it up a bit. :D
|
I liked the bit with Kent Brockman.
Something like... "This is live. How can I prove it's live? Penis!" :D |
oh man the Fox news spoof was damn_funny.

A great episode. The ending wasn't a let down for once, and there were tons of jokes. One of the best of the season.
|
"Welcome to Fox News, The Voice of Evil"
Holy crap, spot on! Great social satire in this one. |
I'm surprised there isn't a five page post complaining about the FoxNews spoof by now.
|
The fox news spoof is now one of my favorite simpsons moments
|
The FoxNews spoof had me in tears. This was easily the best episode of this season and the best I've seen in quite some time.
