He let her go to save her, IMHO. He obviously liked her enough to sleep with her and she was obviously not the evil henchman type, even from his perspective (we get to see more than he does).

thanks justin, and i agree with your ending. what a baffoon(sp). i was under the impression that at that point even if the irish guy had gotten away in the car he would have been found still. since by that point the place was jammed up everywhere.

Having seen the alternate ending, I suppose, he may have let her go because he knew other forces would take care of her (and she was never his target to begin with).

is the alternate ending on the dvd? i don't have it and haven't seen it, but i love alternate endings as a whole.

Yes there is a diffrent ending on the DVD. The movie is real cheap to I think it's like 8 bucks.
