X-Files Seasons question.
What season of X-Files do they focus on the conspiracy more than the individual cases. I own the first and second seasons, and I really enjoy watching them. I totally love this show and I can't remember when they started the transition from individual cases to focusing on Moulder and his theories and the trouble he gets himself in. I know that a time comes in when Skinner and Mr. X come into play as well. What season starts developing these things?

This should be in the TV forum....
The "mythology" episodes start from the very beginning. However, I would say starting with season 3 they get more into mythology over standalone episodes. Usually the mix is pretty even though IMO.

Well, since it's already in the movie section, I'll ask a question I've been meaning to ask along these lines. Can "X-Files: Fight the Future" be considered an episode? Does it coincide with the where the television was at the time it was released? If so, where does it go in the series?

Bechman 2000 - The movie occurs between 5 & 6, yes. However it pretty much stands alone. The X-Files are closed at the end of season 5, re-opened in the movie and active in season 6 (but Mulder and Scully are no longer assigned to work on them). The movie really does answer too much of anything in the conspiracy - it works to entertain devoted fans while also bringing in people new to the show.
Butch Coolidge - I would say to get season 4. I like it for some great standalone episodes like Home, Musings of a Cigarette-Smoking Man, Never Again (w/Jodie Foster) and Small Potatoes. Also Tunguska/Terma is a great "mythology" two-parter that starts the whole black oil thing in force.
