What a good Cd player that can play CDs of mp3s as well?

I would like to get one in the next couple weeks. I did some research on my own and couldn't really find one that screamed "this is the one to get"...what do y'all suggest?

Thanks for any advice. I don't want just a Cd player or just an mp3 player. I'm looking to pay less that $150.

I had the Riovolt for about a year. It broke on me . Other then that it was great.

I also hear good things about the iRiver.

The iRiver SlimX imp-150 is great. I just replaced the same model after my first SlimX was stolen. It's thin, it can play both CDs & burned MP3s, plus it has an FM radio.

Amazon is selling it for $130. I also read somewhere that the Amazon's $5 off coupon still works, "MAPPCTBANK35", and after the $20 rebate you will definitely meet your budget.

Thanks, I'll look into those. I think I already used that amazon coupon though, but I have other credit with them to make it cheaper.

Ok, after doing further research and reading reviews, it seems like the SlimX was the way to go, so I got one. It looks like everywhere I looked, the reviews were pretty good.

I have the SlimX iMP-350, and I love it. Definately the best investment I made, music-wise. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't play well sideways (I often carry it in my hoodie pocket, so it can be a problem). That's really my only complaint. Built really solid and the remote control is fun!

Don't forget to upgrade the firmware!

Yes, I am happy with the IMP-350. It took some getting used too, but I figured it out and it's really nice. It takes awhile to load though.

I've got a RioVolt 250 with FM tuner. Very happy with it...my only complaint is that it goes through batteries fairly quickly.

So does the Iriver, it gets like 6 hours of use after a 6 hour charge. But supposedly if you use 2 AA as well, you get like 23 hours.
