Let's just face it, some songs are better than others when cruising around in your car in the summertime. You know...the songs that you play really loud and get you a-singing. We all have different tastes....so list some of your favorites here.
Me....(in no particular order)
La Grange - ZZ Top
Boys of Summer - Don Henley
Thunderkiss 65 - White Zombie
Ruff Ryders - DMX
Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison
Paradise City - Guns and Roses
Photograph - DefLeppard (ala Guesswho)
Summertime (of course) - Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince
Home Alone - Keith Murray, R. Kelly
Whatever - Godsmack
Tiny Dancer - Elton John
'N Together Now - Limp Bizkit, Method Man
Stealers Wheel - Stuck in the Middle with you
Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots
Clint Eastwood - Gorillaz
Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangsta - Geto Boys
Old Time Rock and Roll - Bob Seger

For some reason I really like to listen to ZZ Top during the summertime. I have an MP3 player in my truck, so it's easy to burn a mix of songs that I like.

It varies for me, I usually listen to the radio, or cds for short trips.
But, if its long trips, I have to have music that I know the words to. For some reason, when I sing the words, it helps me stay awake and focused for driving. I guess because it keeps your mind active.
Also, lots of edgier/harder/techno music helps. The softer songs just lull me to sleep.

Another vote for Joe Satriani:
In this case Can't Slow Down (come on...with a lyric like "I just can't slow down....drivin' to the sound"). In fact, anything off the album Flying in a Blue Dream. Premium driving stuff...
But I suppose it depends on my mood at the time.
