Kung Pow

This movie looks hilarious! I hadn't even heard anything about it until today when I saw the trailer listed at Apple's site and I'm glad I did. I don't want to miss this flick in the theater.

Looks mega campy but fun. Definitely won't pay full price for it. I bet the DVD will have some special packaging; chinese food or cow udder.

I didn't even crack a smile when I saw that trailer. Will comedies ever stop ripping off The Matrix?

Wow! When I saw this trailer in the theatres today I couldn't stop laughing until about 10 minutes into the feature. This trailer had me rolling and my sides hurt so bad afterwards. It's been a long time since I've laughed this hard and my friend noticed too.

Man, the dubbing was hysterical and when the dog was dubbed that's where I lost it! The close up nostrils, the tongue fighting, the sacred mark Oh Jesus! That's some funny shiznit.
I'll let the Matrix stuff slide because it's with a cow for chrissakes! With milk shooting out.

I will be there opening day for this one!

Ahhhhh. Good 'ole Steve Oedekerk. I don't think I hate any of his movies.

At the end of the trailer it says "Kung Pow: Enter The Fist" so yes. I agree that the Matrix ripoff scenes are getting dated but like a previous poster said, it is a cow afterall and I LMAO seeing that.

I saw this trailer Friday night with "Behind Enemy Lines", and the film looks eye-rollingly stupid. Of course, I generally find so-called genre parodies stupid and juvenile, like "Scary Movie". Just NOT my type of humor!

Well, old school 70's-early 80's kung fu is probably my favorite type of film, and I can see why it would be ripe territory for parody... however, isnt it a little late to be making a parody of chop socky movies? Twenty years ago sure, but in 2002?... I dont trust the guys comic sensibilities too much, after all, he made Thumb Wars and everything he seems to touch, to have a big hand in, is a mess.

Campy, yes. Hilarious, most definately. This is probably the most wacked out trailer since the first Scary Movie. The "Enter the Fist" was a good touch.

Whoops, forgot about Patch Adams. But what's so wrong with Ace Ventura 2?

I saw the trailer this past weekend and actually found myself making a horrible, horrible face during the entire thing. This looks like the most awful waste of film I've ever seen. Not a good joke in the entire trailer.

it doesn't have to be stupid and bored to be light-hearted.

I love comedies, but this will be a must-miss for me for sure.
The only thing remotely funny was the dubbing.

Apart from that the rest looked lame.

It really reminded me of the original Scary Movie trailer, with the Matrix gags, and goofy violence/sex portrayals and talk about how all the good stuff is in the trailer.
