Hey Thorn, don't even try to put this garbage in the same league as Army of Darkness. AOD is a B-movie masterpiece. Kung POO is just They Call Me Bruce? 20 years too late. Hell that's probably even way too big of a compliment for this piece of crap!

I'd like to think I am - but that "movie" looks like absolute trash.

Sequel already?

The director is already talking about sequels to the film. Apparently it's a trilogy.

oh. yay.

Agreed. The Matrix parody has been beaten to death many times.

Movie still looks like it'll be fun, I might check it out if nothing else interesting is playing.

I'd rather watch this stupid movie than watch any of Oliver Stone's tripe.

I'd rather watch Oliver Stone's tripe rather than this stupid (literally) movie, of which there are far too many.

This looks like a funny, no-brainer movie, but there's no way I'd pull the full price of admission.

Hey, to each his own, but at least you admit Oliver Stone makes tripe.

They should have at least gotten a star for the main role. This seems like a perfect role for Ben Stiller.

I gotta agree with that. Even though I'm not a big fan of Stiller's, I do enjoy some of his movies and he'd be a much better choice than whatshisname.

Everybody is welcome to their own opinions on this film, and I thought it looked like a major stinker myself after seeing trailers, but I caught it on DVD and loved it. Found it hilarious quite often. Sure more than a few jokes fell flat, but overall it was a winner for me. Couldn't resist buying it when I saw it used at Hollywood Video.

That being said, you can have all your opinions, but try not to tell other people what they should think about the film. I think a sequel would have a good chance of being funny and I don't know why what other people find funny should be a concern to other people.

I just watched it a couple weeks ago and was MAJORLY disappointed. I had read a lot of positive things about (along with a ton of negatives). There were some genuinely funny parts, especially in the first half of the movie. The problem is that by the 2nd half of the movie the whole thing was getting really stale and repetitive. Towards the end of the movie it stopped being even remotely funny and I just wanted it to end.

My wife thought it was one of the worst movies she had ever seen and after it was over ordered me to get rid of it.

I saw this movie and to come into it with negative expectations was the right way to go. It has some funny parts but is not hilarious. I would buy it if I ever saw it for less than $5.

A lot of it is stupid humor, a lot of it is quirky in the same vein as Conan O'Brien.

Some of it was hilarious, some of it was horrible. I don't feel like I wasted my time watching it.

Laugh riot

I grew up watching HK action flicks, and the parody displayed in this movie was just too funny. One of my Korean friends didn't care for the humor but I was rolling on the floor.

It was definitely a good investment.

I thought Kung Pow was ok. Definitely not the greatest movie, but not bad either.
