Sounds like you're talking about the pirated versions of the game. The original game only has 1 CD.

So you're saying there's a pirate version out there that has more movies than the actual legit release?

If not, how can a one gig CD hold more than 2 regular CDs?

No. The 1 cd release basically ripped all the movies out, so you don't even see them. The 2nd release kept 95% of them in and it is a 2 cd set. Also, the single cd release, once you finish the 1st CD, it asks for the 2nd one to be inserted. Damn_idiots, just let Echelon rip em.

Sorry for being so stupid, but is this an unreleased game that the hackers got access to and released like Thrill Kill? I've never heard of Headhunter.

Why release this in Europe, but not the US? Is it another Shenmue II deal where Sega is making it an Xbox exclusive in the US?

BTW I got the pulsar version and tried it out. It seems like a very cool game. I would have bought this one for the DC in a minute.

Sega marketing is F'd. Oh yes, we will definately release Shenmue II US, then pull it. Propeller Arena, Half Life, the list goes on and on. Basically, who knows what the F they are thinking. Sega Marketing!

So there are two offical and legal European versions, one with 95% of the movies and one with 5% of the movies? Thats a new one by me

Sure, the game may have been released overseas, but that wasn't the intended gist of the thread from what I picked up after reading the first few posts.

No, there are 3 versions. 1 legit, 1 pirate by Fooligans which is a crap rip, and 1 rip by Pulsar which is good.

Just played it for a few minutes and its pretty good, kinda that Metal Gear Solid type espionage game.

As would I. I love Sega, I try to give them the benefit of the doubt...but they are pushing it.

oy... now pulsar has released a 'fix' because there's a problem with disc 2:

It seems that only one cinematic was checked on Head Hunter CD2 and we have ripped it off lucky us .
There's only 24 hours in a day, and we can't change that. We hope that people with brain can understand that we can't sit around on our couches and playtest games for a week or two and make sure that every single little option or cinematics work.
Because of that, the enduser was being unable to finish CD2. Once this fix is applied on the disc, you will be able to fully enjoy this amazing game. Follow these detailed fix instructions in Windows 9X to fixup your copy...

Does the legitimate European release come on one disc or two? If it's one, it seems strange that Pulsar couldn't fit the whole game onto two regular CDs.

While I understand the frustration about Sega basically going back on their word in terms of game support for the Dreamcast it's still not cool to point people to bootlegs on DVD Talk.

Save as in Memory Card? Yes, one of the first things the game does is check your memory card.

I want to buy this game, can anyone recommend a place to get good prices on European imports?
