Recommendation for modern film noir

Can anyone recommend newer movies in the film noir type?
Some examples: L.A. Confidential and Basic Instinct.

Too impatient to wait for The Man Who Wasn't There?

PS I cast my vote for Dark City.

Some good modern "noirish" films (I'm not crazy about the term "neo-noir", and NO modern film can be considered a true film noir, in my opinion):

Chinatown
Miller's Crossing (And check out "The Glass Key" for the inspiration)
Blood Simple
Devil In A Blue Dress
The Grifters

Dead Again - never gets any cred from movie people, but I really liked it.

One "noirish" film not mentioned yet that I'd recommend:

The Last Seduction

I give that one props. Didn't particularly care for
Spoiler:
the whole scissor motif thing
but that's just me.

More good modern film noir:

Fargo
Body Heat
Spanish Prisoner

I don't know if Pi is really a noir film.

Marty mentioned it above, right before my post (where I would've mentioned it if Marty hadn't).

But then again, a great one like TLS can always use more props

After just watching it again tonight after 15 years, I'll give a strong second to "Blood Simple". That's one fine movie.

Payback is a pirce of crap compared to the original: Point Blank starring the baddest mofo around: Lee Marvin.

That's one I will definitely be seeing. Probably my most anticipated movie this year. The Coens have yet to make a movie that I don't absolutely love.

Here is the trailer for those who haven't seen it yet:
