Looking to buy, but want those expert opinions first.

Josh....I was going to purchase this title for the Dreamcast when released but due to the terrible reviews it received I looked elsewhere!!!

I rented it and thought it was only redeemable for the story. Some good Evil Dead mythos stuff and Campbell is great. However, everything else blows. Plus it's extremely short. Can be beat in like 3 hours. Not worth full MSRP. If you're a huge Evil Dead fan and can get it for like $5, sure why not.

Unplayably bad. Inferior to even RE:1 in both technical aspects and execution. And I loved Evil Dead, too; I was quite dissapointed.

I thought about buying a few times and figured that I better just rent it. The only better move on my part would of been to set fire to the video store and save everyone from renting it.

Just to be different, I loved it. The movement wasnt great at all but not half as bad as everyone says IMO. Funny as hell game. Definitely too short. Id look for it cheap.

I bought this game first day of its release. I returned in later that night. I love the damn movies! But this game is a piece of s***! Goddamn I hated this game. First off, its impossible. IMPOSSIBLE! You think you'll be playing Ash from ED2 and AOD? Blasting deadites as you spew oneliners? Forget it! You'll be play ASHley from ED1 which means your ass will always be getting cleaned and you'll be running away the majority of the time. As for the oneliners? Gay! There are only TWO.. yes TWO that you can hear from pressing a button. This game sucks. I hated it. Buy RESIDENT EVIL : CODE VERONICA. 'Nuff said!

If its cheap enough i'll pick it up.

Ah, I thought it was pretty decent. It's not that great as a game, but it's Evil Dead, so if you're a fan, you might want to give it a try. I found it to be pretty fun, especially at the end.
