An excellent and refreshing horror film that doesn't involve torture or an unstoppable killer. This blu ray will be mine!

Original theatrical ending? Perhaps both cuts should be included.

Cool, I enjoyed this one. Reminded me of some old school "monster" horror movies that we don't get a whole lot of these days.

The trailer on the X360 looks amazing in HD, I'm expecting a lot from this transfer.

I saw this for free thanks to the Sweeney Todd DVD and really didn't like it. There were some cool parts, but overall it could have been direct to video.

I liked the movie a lot despite it's problems (not as good as the book!) but I'll be buying this on day 1 anyhow!

This was one of the best horror movies I'd seen in a while. Been waiting to hear when it would be released!

Uh...there was plenty of torture in the movie. It was basically Hostel but with plants doing the torture as opposed to sadistic people.

Naw, people were still doing the torture in it. Think about it.

Uh..How is a carnivorous plant consuming people torture? I was referring to person on person torture.

Spoiler:
By removing the plants out of somebody by cutting them open, taking care of someone by cutting limbs off while they're awake, someone cutting themselves open and digging inside themselves. Yeah no, no torture there.

Really enjoyed the behind the scenes stuff on this one and thought the commentary was pretty decent too...having Jeff Betancourt there to pry info out of Carter Smith was a great idea! I thought the movie looked and sounded great. I also like the new Unrated ending WAY MORE than the theatrical...it's funny how one little bit of CGI can make the experience more satisfying! A very decent release all around.

Amazon doesn't have this available until August. Is it out there at retail stores or is it a production issue?

Amazon has been having issues lately.

It's $22.99 next week at I think Best Buy, best to wait.

There is no such thing as "production issues" and Blu-ray. Amazon simply...didn't order enough.

Regardless, go buy it from Best Buy today and just price match it next week. It will be cheaper and instant gratification.

The video transfer is terrific. There are plenty of outdoor shots and they are gorgeous to look at. Very bright, crystal clear picture.
