I wonder which Kirby game the list refers to, Canvas Curse or Squeak Squad. I'm guessing the former.

Are there any Wii/DS interactive games on the horizon? I've heard that linking the two to use the DS as a controller was a consideration by Nintendo but haven't heard anything more concrete. I have a DS and a DS Lite but obviously hardly use the DS. If something else is coming where I could use both then I'm holding on to the DS too!

Cause it's not as active as the others. The one I just closed had been open since march.

Geometry Wars: Galaxies for the Wii will have the ability to upload a full version of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved to the DS. On that note, the DS edition of Galaxies will also allow users to upload GW:RE to other DS's.

It's not really the type of interactivity that you're looking for, but it's something.

I believe that My Word Coach for the Wii allows you to use the DS to spell with the stylus instead of trying to do it with the wii-mote.

Are you sure about transferring the game? All I've seen is that if you own both you can transfer your save game back and forth to play anywhere-any time.

Yes - you can definitely download an on-the-go version of GW:RE to the DS from the Wii version. But you can't progress in your "Galaxies" game on the DS that way.

Is it just me, or are we in a crazy drought of good DS games. I mean the next game I'm at all interested in is the Zelda, and the last game I got was the Yoshi. It seems like every game that's been coming out these days is some gimmicky mini-games type thing.

It isn't just you. The last game I bought was Puzzle Quest and the next will be Zelda. Other than that and Phoenix Wright 3 (which'll be more of the same, I dread) - nothing even on my radar. I read a rumor today from 1UP/EGM that Dragon Quest 4 is supposedly getting a DS remake.

It is a painful drought

I was thinking the same thing the other day. I assumed because it is summer.

suprisingly AWESOME on the DS. Makes Socom for the PSP (minus online) look shoddy

It's summer draught. But, I think there's been a few good things that have come out in the last couple months (based on either my own experience or reviews I've read): Sim City, Brothers in Arms, Planet Puzzle League, and of course Pokemon.

But yeah.. it's been slow. Nothing really stellar (unless you're a puzzle or Pokemon fan).

Zelda is a must buy for me, but I do have other games I'm interested in: Advance Wars 2(if it makes it to the US), Brain Age 2, The Ward, FF: Revenant Wings, Insecticide, Duck Amuck, Namco Museum DS (for Pacman Vs), Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, and a few others.

Brain Age 2 is just more of the same thing. If you were BIG fan of the first one, I'd recommend, but if you thought it was just "alright", id probably stay away

Revenant Wings is awesome if you like RTS style games.

I'm hoping this Ninja Gaiden turns out well

I'm sure after they sell 4-5 million of them in Japan they will probably bring it to the US so we can buy our 200k copies.

Last game I bought was Pokemon Diamond and won't get another one until Zelda. After that it's only Dragon Quest IX and Final Fantasy IV. Damn dry.

I really liked Brain Age, though I admit I haven't played it in awhile. But for $20 (For BA2), it seems like a easy buy.

I love RTS and that's why I want RW. I'm not really a big Final Fantasy fan, so I'm acrually more interested in the RTS gameplay.
